FMI’s Climate Bulletin Research Letters was an open access journal for a wide readership published by the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) between the years 2019 and 2024. The journal was discontinued in 2025. Aim of the journal was to provide a platform for researchers to publish smaller pieces of work or results of a project.
Research Letters issues were published in English once or twice a year. All short papers had length of maximum four pages. Despite their brief nature, the short papers were peer-reviewed and each one got a unique DOI for citing.
